Vacation Care
ROOSH’s Vacation Care holiday program is a great way to spend the holidays! Each program includes suggestions from children, parents, and our Educators.
Our programs run throughout most of the Northcross Christian School holiday breaks, closing only for a couple of weeks over Christmas and the New Year.
ROOSH will be open from 7:30am to 6pm each day, excluding public holidays.

AUTUMN school holidays – vacation care program:
Children will need to bring:
- A tummy full from breakfast (as ROOSH does not provide this during the Holidays).
- Morning tea
- Lunch
- Afternoon tea
- A refillable drink bottle
- A backpack
- A hat.
All food should be free from Nuts, this includes Nutella, hazelnut or almond spread, almond milk, peanut butter, etc.
Please do not pack food that needs to be heated or cooked.
Clothing:
- Casual sun-safe play clothes. This includes tops that cover shoulders and shorts that reach knees.
- Hat ( or beanie in Winter School Holidays)
- Closed in, secure flat play shoes such as sneakers This does not include Crocs, Ugg Boots, high-heeled shoes or wheelies.
- A jumper or jacket
- Spare clothes in case of wet or messy play.
All items of clothing need to be labelled so we can return them at the end of the day if they go missing, particularly jackets, jumpers and hats.
BEHAVIOUR
If a child’s behaviour seriously affects the safety and/or enjoyment of others, families will be contacted and asked to make alternative arrangements for their children.
BOOKINGS AND CANCELLATIONS
All bookings must be made online through FullyBooked.
Vacation Care bookings within 7 days of session start time will incur a late booking fee of $6 per child. Vacation Care bookings can be made up to 24 hours prior to the session start time. Cancellations made within 7 days (168 hours) before the session start time will be charged in full and counted as an absence.

CCS/ACCS If you wish to claim the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) and the Additional Child Care Subsidy (ACCS) you must be registered with Centrelink. Please go to www.humanservices.gov.au or phone 13 61 50 for more information.
LAST-MINUTE CHANGES
On occasions, due to circumstances outside the control of ROOSH, last minutes changes may need to be made to the program. This may be that an excursion or incursion is cancelled or an advertised activity does not take place. While ROOSH reserves the right to alter the program without prior notification, we will endeavour to arrange an alternate activity of equal value where possible.
